| Production | Made using traditional methods from the highest quality grapes from a ‘Declared’ or exceptional Year. The backbone of wine coming from Quinta da Roeda, arguably one of the best properties in the Douro Valley. |
| Ageing |
Bottled after two years in large oak vats and, it is in the bottle that the long, slow, ageing process transforms the young wine into a magnificent complex Vintage Port. |
| Tasting
Notes |
A classic vintage port showing a good deep purple intensity. Fresh ripe fruit, cassis, chocolate aromas. A nice hint of cedar and spice on the nose. Big, rich, rounded concentrated blackberry and chocolate flavours. Good rich fruit intensity and tannin balance. |

Pairings |
Excellent with a blue veined cheese such as English Stilton or Roquefort. |

This is certainly a wine to be snapped up and cellared lovingly for 15-20 years.
